Running in the trails is bit like life. The journey only requires you to put one foot in front of the other .. again and again and again. And if you allow yourself opportunity to be present throughout the entirety of the trail, you will witness beauty every step of the way, not just at the summit.
Being in nature have a significant impact on your feelings, emotions and physical well being. This was realized immediately after the lift of restrictions / lockdown in the city due to the novel coronavirus. One must be blessed living in a city close to mountains and the sea which is basically your backyard. Jumping into the trails, viewing scenes of nature rapidly had a rapid effect on me too.
I was absorbed by nature scenes and distracted from all forms of pain and discomfort easily. The depressed, stressed and anxious mindset would be instantly changed to a more calm and balanced one by just watching the lush green environment. Nature heals, soothes, restores and connects with our inner senses. Apparently, many of us are experiencing “Nature deprivation”, by spending most of our time watching computer/ mobile screens. The screen time is more than the nature observing time. Finding the right balance between work and the rest of your life is the key.
