Before the Phugthal gompa, we had some noodles and tea for lunch. That place has a beautiful stay with a bed and toilet overlooking the Phugthal valley. for tourists to stay with a price of 750rs. I heard from the monk that the place is 2500yrs old.
Went towards the gompa, was stunning. Words can’t justify the beauty of this place.
I couldn’t take my eye off the landscape, as on one side you see the old monastery carved into the eroded mountain and on the other side a steel blue river is flowing. The mix of colors were just surreal.
Saw little monks studying maths and English. They were quite focussed and had great tolerance. They Just concentrated on studies. There were two groups, one studying English and the other mathematics.
