We woke up the next day and had a talk with the French couple. They explained their whole route and gave some crackers for munching. They were from Toulouse randonee club.

Immediately after, we headed towards phuktal gompa. The trail was sandy, the shoes had nice grip along the trail. There was small landslide which we had to cross by doing a bit of goat-style climbing.

It was an amazing trail to run. It was like as if you were totally free and flying in the sky, complete freedom. We met an 82 year old monk who goes everyday from cha to phuktal for Pooja. He blessed us with his hand over our head and said few Buddhist mantras.

The route was amazing, we could see purne village on the opposite side of the valley.

We ran the whole route along the steel blue Tsarap river.

Video was taken by my friend Peter Van Geit. More info available on his blog http://ultrajourneys.org/
