14th April 2019, started out as a rainy morning. A big crowd gathered for taking part in the half marathon of Genoa. I signed up as a part of my training for my run in Himalayas later this year, so for me race was not a priority but my consistent running was. As in Himalayas it’s more of endurance rather than the timing that matters. It was a lovely start from the Old Port and the route crossed major landmarks of Genova like Principe, Via Balbi, Piazza de Ferrari , Boccadasse then we had to climb the sopraelevata (elevated highway) and head towards the light house and return back to the port. It was a lovely run and ended with a free gelato. (Nothing is free except love ;-))
