The next day (27 Aug, 16) we woke up early around 6 am and starting (cycle-run) towards the breakfast point. It was drizzling in the morning and we had a pitstop at a small store for breakfast. We had aloo paratha and charged our electronics. Soon tar road faded and muddy trails started to begin. It was pure bliss climbing up slowly with a mountain bike. There was no sign of people, just the sound of the waterfalls, rain drizzles and mist covering the valley. We were progressing at a rapid pace deep inside the valley. Peter, was taking some shots of us to capture these unique moments.

Spot the runner

Both of us were in minimalist gear setup, as we were supposed to move fast and light. From Kalhel we slowly moved to Nakarod. The pathway was stunning and really enjoyable for cyclists and runners. The bike pannier rack was a bit shaky. It was quite an expensive investment at the last minute before I headed off to my flight. But due to the ruggedness of terrain, there was a lot of vibration that the bike was enduring especially it was transferred to the panniers. So I had adjust my panniers and was started to track the route in my Garmin gps62s. It was raining heavily, and we were fully drenched while progressing towards the next town.

We crossed Tissa, and the pathway became rocky. I was cycling slowly and it started to be a heavy downpour. We were looking for a campsite and we found a small unused place where there were wooden tables. Soon we pitched our tents and went inside to make ourselves warm.
